About Seth
Seth was born in Kampot and has lived here all his life. For 12 years he has been showing travellers his province from the seat of his tuk-tuk — the salt fields his neighbours work, the pepper farms, the caves and lakes, and the long road up Bokor.
Guests talk about his English, his careful driving and above all his stories: about daily life in the villages, about Cambodian history, and about his own family's experience of it. He's the guide who knows where the good local lunch is, and who'll happily change the plan if you see something you like.

Questions
How much does a tour cost?
You pay for the private tuk-tuk, not per person. Typical prices in Kampot are around $20–25 for the half-day countryside tour and $35–45 for a full day to Kep or Bokor; entrance fees and food are paid on the day. Send Seth your date and group size on WhatsApp and he'll confirm a fixed price. Reviewers often mention his fair prices.
Can I book at the last minute?
Usually, yes. Several guests booked the evening before or on the same day. Message him anyway — if he's already booked he'll tell you straight away.
Where does the tour start?
Seth picks you up from your hotel, hostel or guesthouse in Kampot. Staying in Kep or further out? Just say where, and he'll tell you if pickup there works.
Can I book online and pay by card?
Yes. Seth’s tours are also listed on GetYourGuide, where you pay by card and his listings offer free cancellation up to 24 hours before. Booking directly on WhatsApp works just as well: you agree the price with Seth himself.
Is the tour private?
Yes. The tuk-tuk is just for you and your group, so you set the pace and can change the plan as you go.
Does Seth have a car?
Yes. Besides the tuk-tuk, Seth drives a private air-conditioned SUV for up to 4 people, handy for Bokor, rainy days or a long day out to Kep. Ask for the car price on WhatsApp.
What should I bring?
Sunscreen, a hat, water, and some cash (US dollars and Cambodian riel are both used) for entrance fees, drinks and lunch. Wear shoes you can walk in — the cave temple has a short climb — and cover shoulders and knees for temples.
What about rainy season?
Tours run all year. From about May to October there are often short afternoon showers, so morning starts are a good idea. Bokor's waterfall is at its best in the wet season.
When can we see the salt harvest?
The salt is harvested roughly from January to May, busiest around March and April, and the workers are most active in the late afternoon. In the wet season the fields rest or are flooded, but the countryside is at its greenest.
What language does Seth speak?
Seth guides in English, and reviewers from France, the Netherlands, Germany, Finland, the UK and elsewhere all mention how good it is.
Can we change the itinerary?
Of course. Swap stops, add Kep or a local lunch, start early for the light, or ask for something off the tourist trail.
